About Excess Energy

Hi, my name is Leanne Wood and like all other Pet Care providers I love animals no matter what shape, size or colour they are I love them.

I was brought up surrounded by animals including dogs and cats, hamsters and gerbils, fish and budgies, horses, chickens and geese to name but a few.

At the moment my husband Ian and I have two Border Collies Merlin and Indi, two German Shepherds Kes and Shady and a Minature Poodle Teddy and we all live in the little unknown hamlet of Arras which is in between Market Weighton and Beverley in East Yorkshire. We regularly train at our local Agility Club and compete across the country at Agility competitions. All of the dogs love attending these shows especially to meet and play with other dogs, however our two oldies Teddy and Shady just enjoy going along for the ride.

I have spent the last 12 years working as a Local Government Officer with various roles, more recently I worked as a Welfare Support Officer visiting clients in their own homes assisting them with there individual needs. However I decided to give this up and instead of talking about having a job involving the things I love, just going out there and actually doing it.
